Entropy Performance
Museo Nacional de la República- Brazil
Play Name: Entropy
“Entropy” is an experimental project that combines scientific and artistic approaches. It depicts an evolutionary journey of a human body dissolved into disorder. The body undergoes a process of oppression and detachment in a world of constant flux. The struggle for survival and the intuitive resistance evoke a different quality of movement, a choreography encrypted in distortion, deconstruction and asphyxiation. “Entropy” It explores the possibilities and limitations of body-movement and confinement in the form of fragmentary sequences. The content reveals the body’s archive of past experiences, the re presentation of present intentions, and the expectation of future mechanisms. The artistic approach of “Entropy” is based on scientific experimentation of space-time, the art of improvisation and architectural dance techniques.

Basma Baazaoui
Actress-Performer
Basma Baazaoui is a Tunisian multidisciplinary artist and teacher whose work spans performance, contemporary dance, installation, and visual storytelling. With a strong foundation in both performing and visual arts, Basma explores the body as archive, memory, and resistance, often working at the intersection of image, gesture, and space. Her practice is driven by questions of identity, marginality, Mediterranean narratives, and the poetic resonance of everyday movements. Trained in theatre and acting, and holding a professional degree in performance arts as well as a Master’s degree in English Language and Literature, she brings a rich interdisciplinary approach to her artistic research. Her background in literature deepens her sensitivity to narrative and symbolism, while her performance training grounds her work in embodiment, presence, and lives exploration. She has developed a distinct language that moves fluidly between stage and screen, movement and stillness, often blending live performance with video installation. These activities allow her to explore pedagogical approaches that emphasize experimentation, embodied learning, and critical reflection. Basma views art as a space for reflection, resistance, and care; a way to make visible and audible what often goes unseen, untold, and to listen deeply through image, body, and time.
