lEX DREWINSKI

Prof. Dr. habil. Lex Drewinski, born in Szczecin.1976 – 1981, studies at the State Higher School of Fine Arts (now University of Arts) in Poznań.1981, diploma with honors in the poster class of Prof. Waldemar Świerzy. 1983 – 1985, work as director and screenwriter at the Animated Film Studio in Poznań. 1985, leaving Poland for West Berlin.1992, winner of the competition for the position of Professor of Graphic Design.1992 – 2017, professor of the Chair of Graphic Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, (Germany).
2000, exhibition of “LexICON A-Z“ at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris as an example of an object announcing the 21th century. 2002, honorary member of STGU. 2002 – 2016, columnist for the Polish design quarterly “2+3D”. Since 2010, simultaneously professor in the Department of Graphic Design at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. 2015, nomination for professor of fine arts awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. 2016, Honorary Ambassador of the City of Szczecin. More than 70 solo exhibitions, e.g. Athens, Amman, Beijing, Beirut, Berlin, Damascus, London, Madrid, Mexico City, Nicosia, Stockholm, Quito.
Drewinski has won more than 200 awards and prizes, mainly in international competitions. KYE-SOO MYUNG

1953 Born in Seoul, South Korea.He finished his diploma graduated with honors in 1978. In the same year he has begun his didactic work. In 1981-1984 he taught students at Seoul institute of Arts as a full time lecturer. He moved to Konkuk University from 1985-2019. Currently an emeritus professor. In 1991 and 2003 he got his sabbatical year at Syracuse University and Boston University as visiting scholars. Since 1978 he has been teaching graphic design and giving lectures on design concept. 1994-1996 and 2009-2011 he has served as the dean at the College of Art & Design, Konkuk University.
He has published many papers, including A study on Graphic Design in the cognition and significance of culture and society (The Korea Society of Illustration Research). His professional interests include not only typography but also contemporary painting, graphics and art medias.
In 2017 he received Gold Minister Prize of the Korea Design Exhibition Awards, 2004 he received the President Prize of Education-Konkuk University. And 1994 he received the Grand Prize of Korean Font Competition. The font name is Korean Bright-font. After 2009, He continuously updated Bright-font and published as an open source font and donated profits to an organization that produces braille for the blind. Since 2002 he was in the jury member of Korea Design Exhibition Awards several times.
2013-2015 he was President of Visual Information Design Association of Korea(VIDAK). He is also an international jury. in various artistic and cultural events held in America, Europe and Asia.

FIDEL CARDENAS

He is currently President of the Peru Biennial. International representative in the market of creative and artistic industries in Latin America. He has been part of international delegations representing Peru in European and Asian countries.

Country Manager of Brand Worldwide, international branding firm . Fidel works daily with leading companies in the region, managing strategic projects in the areas of communication and branding. He has carried out various branding studies in his country and has an outstanding professional career in companies from Peru, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador and Bolivia. Frequent guest at activities sponsored by Promperu and the Ministry of Culture.

Past president of the Peruvian Design Association. He has been a member of the boards of directors of several artistic and cultural organizations. Educator, lecturer, he has given numerous international conferences on branding, always with a transversal approach. He regularly collaborates with the media and for important NGOs in Latin America and the Caribbean as an advisor on Cultural Branding and Art Branding.

MOHAMED ZAKARIA

Mohamed Zakaria Soltan was born in 1973 in Cairo, Egyptian visual artist.He got the PhD in Advertising at the Helwan University in Cairo. Lecturer at the faculty of applied arts, October 6 University, participated in several hundred projects and events over the world. Winner of many awards: International Contemporary Miniprint of Kazanlak 2015 Honorary Mention, Bulgaria, «Acknowledgement for the CGD Graphic Artwork» award / «1st International Bookplate Exhibition» Subotica, Serbia, 2015, Collection Certificates at the Beijing International Biennale 2015 and 2017, award of the R + Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Szczecin at the 6th International Triennial of Digital Graphics Gdynia 2019, Poland. Jury in international competitions and bodies: «Posterists in the World» 2019 & 2022 Cuzco, Peru, in Verne and the right to image, RINC Puebla, Mexico. RINC Mexico Committee Member, Joint-Curator at Taiwan Global Antivirus Graphic Design Exhibition / Kaohsiung Creators Association, Taiwan, 2020, and at «The 2021 Chinese College Design Competition – Zodiac Cow», China, 2021. PETER JAVORIK

Since 2016 I have been working as an assistant professor in the Department of Visual Communication of the Faculty of Industrial Forms at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. I have been recognized in many international exhibitions, among which I will mention the biennials of Ecuador, Moscow, Oświęcim, Mexico, Sofia, Mons or Taizhong.

He is the organizer of the Poster Quadrennial Bardejov (Slovakia) as well as poster exhibitions in Slovakia and Poland. In 2018 prepared three curatorial projects in Bardejov – Chinese Graphic Poster (130 authors), the exhibition Shut up! (32 authors) and 100 Years of Revolution in Russia (440 authors), which were accompanied by printed publications.

In 2019, I carried out the very successful City of Bardejov project, to which I invited more than six hundred artists from all over the world. In 2020, I prepared three curatorial projects in Szczecin – the City of Bardejov project, presented at the Szymon Pole, an exhibition of teachers’ works at the Rector’s Gallery, and an exhibition of works by students of Krakow’s Department of Visual Communication at the R+ Gallery. Both exhibitions were presented in the building of the Academy of Art. At the same time, I also opened two independent exhibitions in Szczecin: Posters at the Philharmonic Hall and Graphic Signs at the Guillotine Gallery. I have been an international jury in various artistic and cultural events: Golden Bee, in Moscow, Ecuador Biennial, among others.
